AI Chatbot and the use of view credits

Hello,

does making changes to the website trigger the use of credits for AI Chatbot views?

How can this credit usage be avoided?

Also how do I setup the premium WP Cache plugin with this widget?

Thanks

Hey there and welcom to the Community, @Fabio :waving_hand:

A view is counted each time someone loads the page with your widget. Every time your website’s visitor opens the page with the widget, the widget loads, and it counts as one view.

To prevent your own views from being counted, you must be logged in to your Elfsight account on the same device and browser that you use to work with your website.

However, in some browsers your own views may still be counted due to privacy settings. To avoid this, we recommend adjusting your browser settings as follows:

As for the WP Cache plugin, the AI Chatbot doesn’t require any special settings.

Let me know if this explains things or if you have any questions left :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello Max,

Could Elfsight create a setting with IP addresses to exclude? This would solve the problem of dual logins and access from company PCs and external developers. I’m a freelancer and work remotely, so I can’t disable company access.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible now, but this idea is already on the Wishlist. Please upvote it here - IP Address Block

If this idea gains more votes, we might consider it in the future updates :slightly_smiling_face:
