We utilize a package calculator for prospective clients. It would be very helpful to offer an image to go along with various choice so that the client can see what they are selecting and confirm their perception. This could either be a static image, thumbnail with expanded popout, or hover over, all/any wold be helpful options.
Example:
Package 1: Jersey, Pants, Hat, and Baseball Bag
Package 2: Jersey, Pants, Hat, and Basketball Backpack
Ideally, it would be great to have the customer see the difference between the baseball bag and basektball backpack to confirm which they prefer.
