It should be a good idea to add some ‘filter’ or ‘sort by’ functionality to the Timeline app:
tag and/or categorise items so users can filter by type of event
Is there a way to put events in categories so the end users can sort to see whole time line or choose specific type of areas of interest for example a company has history in military, commercial, industrial, automotive and etc, etc..

Categories aren’t supported in our app now, but a similar idea is already on the Wishlist, and I’ve added your comment there too.
If this request gains more votes, we’ll try to think it over in the future
