We too would really like this feature. We dont want the reviews opening on our clients website (even in the sidebar from floating review template), just a link from the “Read our [Number] reviews” to go direct to googles reviews page in a new window or tab.

As a temporary solution we have found wrapping a link around the DIV tag in the code generated seems to work.
It may not be the best solution but it seems to work.
