The current Google Reviews widget is very comprehensive but one feature it is missing, which I really need, is a badge, where it displays only the star rating, rather than having a slider/grid etc. with all components of a review. The badge would be very useful for a website footer, and where there isn’t much space.

The feature has been released! 
Now you can find three ready-made Badge templates or customize the Badge widget from the settings. Here’s what needs to be done:

Go to the Layout tab of your widget

Find Reviews Layout section and choose either Floating Badge or Embeddable Badge layout.
