We’re excited to introduce a major update for our Reviews apps, packed with fantastic features that take the Badge layout to the next level
What’s inside the update?
New badge designs (All Reviews widgets)
We’ve replaced the old Badge layout with the brand-new Card Badge:
Additionally, we’ve added 2 fresh badge designs to offer options for any case: Compact Badge and Reviews Button Badge
New Badge Display Modes (All-in-One Reviews)
We’ve introduced four new badge Display Modes for the All-in-One Reviews app:
- Combined (Inline and Floating): All source icons are displayed in a single row
- Stacked (Inline and Floating): Each source is displayed in a separate badge that scrolls as a carousel:
- Separate Horizontal: Each source has its own badge, displayed horizontally:
- Separate Vertical: Each source has its own badge, displayed vertically:
Smaller badges in mobile view
You’ve asked and we’ve done it!
Badges became smaller on mobile devices, take up less space and fit seamlessly into the design of your websites. It’s a small change, but we hope you’ll feel the difference
Swipe to close/show badge in mobile view
All badge options now feature swipe controls for mobile! Swipe up to reveal the badge and swipe down to close it. This smooth interaction makes it even easier for users to navigate
Flexible position adjustment
We’ve made badge positioning more flexible than ever! You can now easily align Inline Badges to the left, center, or right:
As for the Floating Badges, you have full control over their position — set them to the left, right, center, top, or bottom of the page.
You can also adjust the vertical and horizontal offsets using slide controls. And if the maximum slider value isn’t enough, simply input your desired offset manually for even more precision:
Display triggers for floating badges
You now have the power to control when the floating badge should appear on the page. Choose from 3 options: Instantly, After Delay, or On Scroll:
Click On Badge Action
A brand-new setting lets you define what happens when users click on the badge. Here are the available actions:
- Open Reviews Popup
- Open Source Profile (new option)
- No Action
Choose the one that best suits your site’s goals
Choose pages to display floating badges
With the new Display on Pages option, you can control the visibility of the floating badges on pages of your website:
Hide/Show floating badges on different devices
We’ve added the Display on Devices option that lets you control where to display the widget:
- Desktop Only
- Mobile Only
- All Devices
This allows for more tailored display settings for different screen sizes.
