While this option isn’t supported now, the good news is that our devs are actively working on the option to add custom fields to the booking form.

Is a release of this feature next week possible, as @Helga told me, or is it still too early?

Is it possible that the following feature will be released at the same time as the custom fields, so that the developers will try to complete the development of these two functions ? :

Choose which field should be required

When I was testing, the phone number was required but the Email Address was not. No value in sending a notification if they don’t enter their email address. Also, we NEED email address so that when the appointment is created in Google we can have them invited as a user. Since there is not a current flow that indicates how the appointment will be conducted, we need to make updates to add Google Meet or Zoom links to the appointment so we need to make sure the invitation is updated.

I’ve noticed that you like to surprise us, like with the tags and categories for the blog, for example, so it’s not impossible that the two functions mentioned will be released at the same time

You see, we’ve run into some technical issues, which has delayed the release of the feature. Right now, it’s in the testing phase, and if no critical issues come up, it should be released soon. However, it’s still hard to provide the estimate timeline now.

Fingers crossed the testing will go smoothly, and we’ll finally be able to roll out this highly anticipated feature. If we have more specific news, we’ll update you here right away

The fields selected on appointment booking are great and quality. As a marketing of a restaurant, the most important information on form is number of guests. please add more.

Also, we have a request for the multiple appointments for the same time slot - Multiple appointments for the same time slot.

Many users mentioned the opportunity to specify the number of guests for the table reservation. So, feel free to upvote this idea as well - Multiple appointments for the same time slot
