Would like the option to place the widget somewhere else on my webpage other than lower left or lower right. Being able to place it along the perimeter in the middle of the page would be helpful, perhaps with an optional pop out bar (much like the current pop up widget)

I am gladly to say that the widget offers flexible settings for changing the widget’s position. You can move it the way you need by changing the vertical/horizontal offsets:
While 80px is the maximum value in the Offset sliders, you can manually enter greater values:
