Why add a Google Reviews badge to your website

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

There’s a lot of talk about trust signals on websites, but I was curious how much a small visual element like a Google Reviews badge actually moves the needle.

Turns out it depends almost entirely on placement. Badges at decision points (product page, checkout) can lift conversions by up to 15%. The same badge in a footer? Basically invisible.

Are you deliberate about where you place trust signals? (and did they actually change anything?)

Would love to hear what’s worked for you :eyes:

Hi @Kristina

I only have it on the homepage because “first impressions count”…at least for me. :hugs:

Hi @Sina, thanks for your input!

That’s fair – first impressions do carry a lot of weight

Interesting to think of it as early-stage credibility (homepage) vs. last-mile reassurance (product pages, checkout)
