Video that can be played only after submitting the form

It would be great if there were a video widget that first collected information about the interested user before allowing them to view the secure investor video with security settings to view only once.

Thanks for sharing your idea with us!

Just to clear things up:

  • You’d like to display a form on your website that will block the video from viewing

  • Once the form is filled and sent, the video should become available

Is everything correct?

If it is, could you please specify whether the video should be unblocked immediately after sending the form or the sent info should be verified first? And what user info would you like to collect?

Yes, this is essentially correct. It would be great to have the means to collect valid data from interested parties prior to providing access to a video feed that can only be played once and cannot be downloaded.

Hello,

Thanks for responding regarding this as I did not think this was something that would be developed anytime soon. Would like to be able to collect information like First / Last name, Email address, and if they have any questions that we could assist them with. Once completed it will have to send the passcode to their valid email address before the video will unlock.

If you can protect video with a password, I guess we have a ready solution. You can use our Form Builder and set up the needed fields:

After that, enable the Auto Responder (available for paid plans only) and add the password to the Message section:

This way, the users will receive a password to their email address after submitting the form. Does this solution work for you or the widget should have an option to block the video too?
