We’ve added the Reviewer Name Format setting to our Testimonials Slider app 
This option allows you to alter how the reviewer’s name is displayed. There are four options available: Full Name, First Name Only, First Name and Last Initial, and Initials Only.
You can find this feature on the Testimonials tab of your widget’s settings:
