Dear Elfsight,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request assistance with an issue I’m experiencing with the audio player I currently use on my website, www.beatsbydiefor.com.
The primary concern is that the audio player takes an unusually long time to start playing audio files. From what I can tell, this delay seems to occur because the player attempts to download the entire audio file before initiating playback. This is causing a poor user experience, as visitors are forced to wait for the full download, which can take some time depending on the file size and their internet speed.
In some cases, especially for users on mobile devices with slower internet speeds, the audio can take up to five minutes before it begins to play. This is a major concern as it deters users from engaging with the content on my site.
Ideally, I would like the audio to begin playing immediately (or with minimal buffering) using a streaming or progressive loading method, where only the portion of the file needed for initial playback is downloaded first. This would allow for much faster response times when users interact with the player.
I would greatly appreciate your advice or any potential solution you can provide to improve the player’s performance and enhance the experience for my website visitors.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
