Quiz Widget

Oh, a widget I can put on a page or blog after adding questions and answers. Multiple choice works best and the responses available could themselves be sentences or words (I am a language teacher).

And there’d be space for their name and class, for example. And I’d be able to choose whether or not I wanted their name or class school (since I teach at different schools)

Great! A huge thank you for such a detailed description of your use case.

I agree that it would be awesome to have these options and we’ll try to consider them when working on the app :slightly_smiling_face:

Elfsight has labeled the Quiz widget “coming soon” several years now. Well thats was a lie.
I’m seriously thinking of leaving elfsight as quiz widget was the most converting thing I consider for my shop.

I was hoping to use the quiz widget to guide customers to the correct product. Making product selection easy for my customers without needing to answer questions over phone or email would be great.

Hi @Markus_Ofverstrom

I totally understand your feelings and deeply apologize for the significant delay in delivery of this app!

I’d like to assure you that we didn’t have an intention to give false hopes and mislead you anyhow. However, unfortunately, we just don’t have enough resources to deal with all the requests at the moment. I am so sorry!

We see that the Quiz widget is one of the most popular apps in the Wishlist. This year, we have plans to actively develop new widgets and prioritize them based on user votes. As soon as we receive updates from our development team, we’ll share all the details in this thread.

Thank you for steering us in this direction, your input is much appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

I would absolutely appreciate some sort of Multi point quiz program. It would be great to be able to develop quizzes to offer several different answers and variations. Depending on the combination of responses, one gives. Kind of like a social media quiz “which princess are you“ I would like the capability of at least seven but preferably 13 answers. If you can handle that many questions if not more also that would be nice.

Hi there, @user1318

Thank you for the comment!

The Quiz widget isn’t on our roadmap yet, and, unfortunately, it’s hard to give any predictions for now.

However, we see the strong interest from our Community in the Quiz app and, hopefully, our devs will be able to include this app into the roadmap down the line.

I’ll make sure to update you here in case of any changes :slightly_smiling_face:

@Helga
This is much much needed. Ability to do the quiz/assessment with:

  1. Create questions (A flow similar to forms and calculator to collect input)
  2. Calculations (Complex Calculations - A flow similar to calculator)
  3. Output: - Ability to show a unique page based on outputs, ability to create pdfs, ability to email users the results.

Hi @Fluential_Support, and thanks a lot for your comment!

Since we’re currently only collecting info and use cases, it’s hard to name the exact features the widget will include. However, we’ll make sure to consider all your suggestions when we move forward with this request!

Hi @XTS_Hummingbird

Many thanks for sharing your use case! We’ll have it in mind when working on the app :slightly_smiling_face:

We are a massage salon and offer a lot of different treatments. This can be overwhelming for our customers. That’s why we would like to add a short quiz (about 5 questions) with questions regarding their preferences and needs. In the end they should get 1 of about 20 different outcomes, suggesting the ideal massage for them with an upsell to a whole massage package, with a link to the booking. Is something of that sort possible?

Hi there, @user19810

Right now, unfortunately, it’s impossible to implement this use case. However, we have a request for the Quiz widget on the Wishlist.

I’ve moved your comment to the related discussion, where we’ll keep you in the loop :slightly_smiling_face:
