Questions about Spinning Wheel app

I have four questions about the prize wheel:

  1. Is there a way to require lead information (name, email address, phone) for a person to spin the wheel?
  2. Is there a way to limit the number of times a person can spin?
  3. Is there a way to create a timeframe for when the prize will expire? For example: $250 off your next purchase within 24 hours
  4. Is there a way to embed the widget in a page instead of having it as a pop-up?

Edit: I do absolutely LOVE the widget though.

I also noticed that it does not display very well on mobile.

Hey there, @Oliver_Wassef :wave:

We are so happy to hear that our new app meets your expectations!

As for the questions 1, 2, 4, these features are not supported right now, but we’ve added them to the Wishlist:

Regarding your 3rd question, I am afraid it’s quite a tall order to make the prizes valid within a certain timeframe. However, we have a similar idea for a timer creating a sense of urgency. You can vote on it here - Add timer to show that the coupon is time-limited

About the wheel being cut off on some mobile devices, that’s actually by design. If you’d like to see the full display, just send me the link to the page where your widget is installed, and we’d be happy to make adjustments for you! :wink:

Dont mean to hijack this post but i have similar sizing issues with other calculators on my site during mobile use. Was planning on using this wheel eventually too if some of the mentioned features were intergrated. No issue if set to desktop mode but a lot of customers arent that tech savy.

Hi there, @Nathan_Leczynski :wave:

We’ve adjusted the mobile view of your Spinning Wheel widget by adding this code to the Custom CSS field on the Settings tab of your widget’s settings (we’ve saved the code but haven’t published changes):

@media (max-width: 500px) {
  [class*="wheel__Container-sc"] {
    scale: .7;
    height: 340px !important;
  }
}

@media (min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 600px) {
  [class*="wheel__Container-sc"] {
    scale: .7;
    height: 420px !important;
  }
}

Check it out and let me know if you like the result :slightly_smiling_face:

As for the Calculator display, I see that it’s installed on the Google Sites website. Due to the peculiarities of Google Sites platform, all elements of applications are being converted into iframe format, which causes incorrect displaying.

Iframe calculates the height of the block on mobile based on its size on the desktop. So, to make the widget look good on mobile, you need to stretch the widget in its height on the desktop.

I also need to inform you that an empty space might appear on the desktop below the widget, but it is the only workaround we can suggest in this case. I am really sorry about that :pensive:

Please let me know if any assistance is needed, I’ll be happy to help.

Thanks for your response @Max

Is it possible to add other Elfsight widgets directly into the spinning wheel, so that I could create a form or timer directly on the prize page?

Currently, there is no way to do this, but it will be possible with the release of these features:

We’ll keep you in the loop :wink:
