Portfolio pop-up box doesn't work properly

I have tried to add the portfolio widget to a Wix Studio website.

Please don’t mind the design, I have just started it, but I can’t move onto other parts until the widget works how I want it to.

The pop-up currently only appears within the frame/embed that you allocate on Wix Studio, rather than being an actual pop-up feature that acts as a “light box” (as per Wix’s terminology), which would typically grey out the entire background of the site.

Is there a way to make it overlay the entire site when you click on a portfolio item??

Yep, this issue occurs because of the Wix iframes. To fix it, please reinstall the widget avoiding iframes - Installing Elfsight widget on Wix avoiding iFrame - Elfsight Help Center.

Hi Max, do you know what the equivalent to the “Box” on the Wix editor is in the Wix STUDIO editor? :sweat_smile:

Hmm, ChatGPT says that it should be called “Section or Container”, but I’m not sure about it.

If you couldn’t find it in your editor, please request the reinstallation, as suggested in the previous message.
