For new businesses that are driving traffic to their websites, offering free value to potential customers is great for building mailing list. Allow a popup or banner on the website to collect email address before giving access to the downloadable pdf

There pdf files in the web-site but I want users be able to download the content after registration - i.e. they receive an automatic email to their mailbox, click the link, get access to the content to download. Thanks.

What happened with the idea to be able to collect emails, before allowing people to download a pdf file?

I am sorry to say, but we haven’t got any news about this feature yet. You see, given the high number of ideas on the Wishlist, we prioritize them based on their complexity and popularity.
At the moment, there are a lot of requests with the higher priority level and our devs are focused on them.

If we receive any updates about this feature from the dev team, we’ll promptly inform you here :slightly_smiling_face:

Another vote here for this. It would be great if this widget could provide access to multiple “freebies” from which the visitor could select the one that most interests them. I believe this could be most effective as chatbot that can engage with them and provide them options for the downloads. If after they download the resource the chat bot could offer to put them in touch with the business owner and either provide a link to the calendar or the email address for addition questions. I will have to utilize no less than 2 other applications currently to make something like this work. If this is not getting enough votes perhaps this functionality could be added to existing chatbot widgets?

I guess it would simpler to implement this use case via the PDF Embed widget, but you’re very welcome to add this idea the Wishlist category for the AI Chatbot :slightly_smiling_face:
