It would be such a good idea to have a small badge set next to the item to show that the item’s current availability in the menu widget. User could set the colors, badge size, etc. And also it can be made flexible where user can add its own tags.

You know, I guess we have a similar request for an option to hide items in case something is not available, do you think it aligns with your idea? Hide Menu Item Toggle Position
