Guys, we are thrilled to announce that our devs implemented a lazy loading feature for images in our Photo Gallery app
Previously, all the photos were loaded immediately, but now they’ll be loaded gradually as needed.
What’s inside the update?
- Masonry, Grid and Panoramic layouts
-
New photos are loaded when the “Load More” button is clicked
-
The button now includes a loading indicator
- Thumbnails, Slider, and Columns layouts
-
All currently visible photos and those that will be visible when navigating forward and backward are loaded at once (buffered one step ahead)
-
In the Thumbnails layout, photos from the slider previews are also buffered
- No need to find the setting:
- This feature now works automatically in all widgets
- Benefits and Performance:
- Widgets now consume fewer resources and load much faster
