PDF Embed Questions for using

I’m testing PDF Embed for the first time. It is working pretty well for our use case. There are a few things that are stumping me I’d like some clarification on.

o When I choose file by url, and I change the file at that URL (via ftp) but keep the identical filename, will the newly updated file be displayed on the website via the widget? Or do I have to manually update the file in the elfsight interface every time I need to change the file (which would make this much less useful).

o By default the PDF has these huge margins around it. I’d like to be able to reduce the blank margins so it appears like it does when you click the plus sign at the bottom of the pdf.

o There are interface options for changing two of the colored areas, but what I would really like to change is the area indicated below:

These gray margins are a part of Google Docs and it’s impossible to reduce them and change their color.

Regarding adding via URL option, the changes should be automatically pulled to the widget, so you won’t need to constantly update the file in the widget.

This is super slick. Previously our client would send us an excel spreadsheet and we’d use it to update their bid list on their website. It took about 10-15 minutes every other week. Now they can print the excel sheet to a pdf, and using FTP send it over to their website by themselves. And it can be easily printed by website users who need it. BRAVO!
