If I link the button to a page it always opens in new tab…there should be an option to open that in the same tab…most of the times a slider is there to open pages on the same website as the slider is…

I have to say that our plugins from Envato and the SaaS widgets are a bit different things and get updated separately. Could you please let me know if your plugin is working fine now as it should be updated now?
@Sameer Zavery, I’m sorry that this option is not supported in our Event Calendar yet. However, you’re very welcome to vote for this feature and get a notification as soon as it’s released

This is where you will find it:
- Go to your widget’s Slides tab
- Choose a slide
- Find Content section
- Choose Button section
- Enable Open Link in new tab option
