One calendar, multiple layouts

I agree with you and I add the time difference between countys.

@Jon_Ellms yes, I’m also happy that we’ve started working on this! I can imagine how many users will benefit from it

Thank you for your comment and welcome to the community, btw! Feel free to look around, we have a lot of cool stuff here

@Alexandros_Zeppos yeah, I’ll keep you posted here!

It would also be nice to have with all the above the weather state of the countries with tempareture and maybe for the eyes would be nice if for that we had a draw of the sun, clouds, rain, etc for every origin

@Alexandros_Zeppos We have a separate Weather widget that includes all these functionalities. Could you please check it out and let me know if this meets your needs?

Just checked it. My mistake, I didnt know it existed. It is a great app, I like it the way it is.
Thinking again if you add in calendar the weather then it would be a heavy weight app and hard to use.Leave it the way it is.
I was thinking that weather app could work for chat proggrams alaska nd archive showing the weather in different countries the same time.

This!

I currently have to update 3 calendar/widgets every time I add/edit an event in my radio schedule.

Hi @markdiscbreak and welcome to Elfsight Community

Oh, I understand how inconvenient it can be. This feature would be a huge time-saver!

As Helga mentioned above, our devs started working on it. We’ll make sure to keep you informed about any progress :slightly_smiling_face:

We are extremely grateful for your participation in the life of our Community! It means the world to us!

Dear friends, I’m sooo happy to finally mark this request as Released

It’s true, you now CAN change layouts dynamically on different pages! All the details on how to work with this feature are in this article: How to dynamically change the Event Calendar layout - Elfsight Help Center.

Make sure to share your feedback! :clap:t2:

Hi Helga,

I’ve just tried this, not sure if I’m doing something wrong.

I’m unclear on how I change the formatting for each calendar view (eg, number of days/events to display, background colours etc)

I currently use 2 event widgets:

A MASONRY view calendar on my radio station homepage with images. (widget name: ON NOW)

A LIST view calendar on my schedule page with just text. (widget name: SCHEDULE)

The MASONRY one shows one event only (I use it to display the current show).

The LIST one shows 3 days of upcoming events.

When I tried to use the new LIST layout code (with the ON NOW widget) it’s just showing 1 event and an image next to it.

Is there a way to change the appearance/layout settings for each layout type?

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks,
Mark

Hi @markdiscbreak

Please let me step in for Helga!

I am sorry to say that our new dynamic layouts feature changes only layout, but not its settings. If you have 1 post to display in Masonry layout, it will show 1 post in List layout as well.

So, unfortunately, the only workaround in your case is to use 2 different widgets.

Please let me know if this clarifies the situation or if you have any further questions :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s great, I hope you’ll get the most out of this feature!

By the way, if you have further questions or feedback, feel free to share it with us :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Max,

Thanks for confirming. Yes I will stick to the two widgets.

Thanks,
Mark

Just tested it on my current calendar :pinched_fingers::pinched_fingers::pinched_fingers: This will definitely make the widget more useful!
