Newbie - Help With Social Media Counters

  • I just discovered Elfsight and I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the choices.:
    What I need to do is create social media platform follower counters in a similar fashion to the big social media item counters and followers thing you see on this Influencer theme template for Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and Instagram just below the main hero image.

Social Platforms Subscriber Counters

  • Can you link me to the specific widget(s) I need to accomplish this

I’m hoping the counts can be linked to the actual social platforms and automatically updated. Any help to push me in the right direction will be appreciated.

Currently, we don’t have such an app in our catalog, but we have such an idea in the Wishlist. Please vote for this request to not miss any important updates.

As for now, you can try using our Number Counter app for this purpose. Here you can set the Start and End value of the counter, add custom prefix/postfix, upload any icon and add a link to your social media platform:

I’m really surprised that an automatic social media follower count for each of the social media platforms isn’t already available. This is a must have for social media influencers. I did vote for the idea and I’m surprised it has so few votes. I’d code this myself in a heartbeat if someone wants to help me through the process. I can do all the display layer stuff but I don’t have experience doing API interaction.
