Missing Feature or it`s a Issue?

Hi there,
I don’t know if this is a missing feature or an issue ?? :face_with_peeking_eye:

The Event Calendar also offers me the calendar integrated externally into Google (ics with URL) as a choice.
This is not the case with the Appointment Booking. Why not?

In my case, I’m bringing appointments from another booking system into my Google Calendar. This means that these slots should actually also be taken into account by the Elfsight Appointment Booking Widget.

Google doesn’t integrate this into my preferred calendar, but creates a separate one. Depending on the use case, the calendars display free or occupied time slots.
If the Elfsight Appointment Booking Widget is supposed to work with these free time slots, that would be perfect.
However, it also requires this suggestion for the Elfsight Appointment Booking Widget.

Hi there, @Sina :waving_hand:

Just to confirm if I got your case right:

  • When importing appointments from another booking system to Google Calendar, Google Calendar creates a separate schedule for these appointments.

  • This 2nd schedule shows blocked slots and in the original Google Calendar, you show free slots

  • For this reason, you’d like to connect multiple Google Calendars to the widget

Is everything correct?

If I misunderstood you, please elaborate on your idea :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Max

You understood that correctly. That’s the goal, but it can only be achieved with the existing suggestion.

There are two things I mean.

But currently it’s like this… hence the “missing feature or issue.”
I can only select the external calendar from Google in the Event Calendar widget. Not in the Appointment Booking widget. Why is that?
