Since today (1/1/2025) I’m not able to add numeric calculator fields with with floating numbers (2.9).
Format dialog lets define only prefix/suffix, but not count of decimal places.
Seems to be a bug.
Yesterday it worked fine.

Hi there, @Dirk_Notzel
I’ve checked the app and the Decimal Places field is available there:
Could you please double-check it? If the issue still persists, please specify the ID of the widget, where the issue occurs. I’ll be happy to check it for you
Hi Max,
I just created a new widget (ID: 799a7569-19f6-4066-b992-42e8ede6f7ae) and added to fields:
Numeric
I wish to display the input value with 2 decimal places. So I would assume to set the format as number with 2 decimal places.
But I find this:
And so a value of 0,20 is displayed as 0,2.
Greets Dirk
Same with Slider
Here I can’t set the slider step with an amount with decimal places, for instance 0,1.
Under format the same issue – no decimal places to select.
And when I change the slider step to 0.1, it changes back to 1.
Hi there, @Dirk_Notzel
I’ve talked to the devs, and they’ve confirmed that we’ve never had Decimal Places for the field values. This feature is available only for Calculations:
Regarding the slider step, I’ve changed it to 0.1, and it’s working fine:
Could you please double-check it?
For me the issue remains unresolved.
I just recorded my screen to show the issue:

Hi @Dirk_Notzel
This happens because you’re using comma before decimal places. Please try to use dot instead and let me know if it worked:
The problem is, even if I press the comma or the dot, it takes a comma in both cases.
Maybe some localization issue? Change the keyboard scheme from German to US doesn’t solve it.
There is a chance that some browser extensions are the reason for this issue. Could you please open the widget’s configurator in your browser’s incognito mode and test this functionality there?
Thanks for reply. Unfortunately no solution.
Even if I write 0.1 (with a dot) in an editor, than copy that value via Ctrl+c and trying to paste it into the slider step, the dot changes to a comma.
The problem isn’t singular on my PC. My collegue encouters the same problem.
Got it, thanks!
I’ve forwarded this info to the devs for further investigation. I’ll update you once I hear back from them
Thank you for waiting, @Dirk_Notzel!
The issue is resolved and everything should be fine. Please check your widget and let me know how it works
Hi Max,
now it works, thanks.
No sweat!
