Hey there @user1384 and welcome to Community
Thanks for sharing your idea with us!
Iād like to let you know that we have a Navigation Menu widget in our Coming Soon project. Is it similar to what you need?
drop down menus with ability to link to files and URLās
Glad to see you in our Community, welcome @user2727
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
Good news is that we have Menu Navigation app in our Coming Soon project that should be the right option for your case.
Iāve merged your comment with the dedicated discussion where we post all the updates
We have a chamber of commerce page and it would be great to have an app that we could develop a directory including specific categories and the ability to search a category for all the business options.
Welcome to Elfsight Community @user5228
Weāve got a Menu Navigation app in our Coming Soon project and it should be just the thing for you. Iāve added your comment to the discussion where we share all the updates
Any idea when itās coming out? so I know if Iām going to bother creating my mobiile menu alone or not?
Much as Iād love to share any news, I am afraid, the timeline is unclear now. I am sorry!
Weāll make sure to keep you informed about any progress in this thread
Thanks a bunch for your feedback and welcome to Community!
Any update on whe this will be released?
@Martin_Munter happy to see you on the forum, welcome!
Iām afraid we donāt have the Navigation Menu widget on our agenda as yet, Iām really sorry
But meanwhile, youāre most welcome to describe your use case and name the features youād love to see in this widget. The more details, the more chances our devs will take it under consideration
Thanks for your reply. I already build my navigation so Iām good. Thought I just ask since it;s under consideration since long time.
Your competition, Fouita already has a footer menu, that we have adapted for a site I am working on. The client chose Go Daddy, and their web builder is so limited, the hosting plan the client is on doesnāt allow CSS, or HTML code but we can use these types of widgets. I like some of your slider designs, but then would need a nav panel at the top. Go Daddyās themes are restrictive, so I would love to add features for my client. Let me know if this is a thing, if so we will buy a plan, if not we will see what Fouita has to offer.
@Doug_Grim happy to see you join us here, welcome!
I wish I had better news, but Iām afraid itās unlikely that weāll release this widget in the near future. Weāre currently figuring out the list of new widgets weād want to release this year, and the Menu navigation might be included. But the timeline is still unclear, Iām afraid.
If I have any update on the process, Iāll make sure to post here right away, though.
Many thanks for sharing your use case and for your kind words! I hope some other widgets of ours could come in handy, too. And weāre always here in case of any questions or issues

Thank you for your interest, @user9100, and welcome to the community!
Weāll be happy to post an update here as soon as have concrete plans for the Menu Navigation development
Hi Team,
I would like to suggest creating a user-friendly menu icon for our website. Here are a few ideas to enhance the user experience:
-
Floating Menu Button: A floating button that remains accessible as users scroll, ensuring easy navigation at all times.
-
Creative Features: Incorporating creative elements like animations or color changes upon hover to make the menu more engaging.
-
Icon Customization: Offering different styles or themes for the menu icon to match the overall design of our website.
-
Quick Access Options: Including shortcuts for popular sections, allowing users to navigate swiftly without going through multiple steps.
I believe these features will improve usability and enhance the overall aesthetics of our website. Looking forward to your thoughts!
Hi there, @Valentine_Pillay
Thanks a bunch for such a thorough description!
Could you please describe how you envision the shortcuts for popular sections? You click the button, then appears a popup with the needed section and users will be able to choose which one to open, am I right?
Hi
I hope this message finds you well!
I wanted to share some ideas regarding the shortcuts for popular sections in our application. Hereās how I envision the functionality:
When users click on the menu button, a popup will appear with various options for them to select. For instance, if they choose the āExperiencesā option, they should see a list of different experiences available. If someone is looking for adventure tours, they can simply click on that category, which will direct them to a page featuring all the adventure tours we offer.
Additionally, for the transportation section, once users click on it, they should have options like taxi services, luxury cars, or rental vehicles to choose from. Itās essential that we allow users the flexibility to create and name their own categories based on their specific business needs. After they enter their desired text, we should provide an option for them to link directly to their designated page.
I believe these features will enhance user experience and provide greater customization. Let me know your thoughts or if youād like to discuss this further!
Best regards,
Valentine
