Issues with HTML code block and post limits in Elfsight Blog widget

Hello everyone,

I’m using Elfsight’s Blog widget and I’m experiencing some difficulties. I hope someone can help me with the following questions:

  1. HTML Code Block: When I insert HTML code in the “Code Block” feature to create a custom button, I only see the code text instead of the rendered button. Is it possible to execute custom HTML within the Blog widget? Is there a correct way to insert interactive elements like buttons?
  2. Post Limit: Is there a maximum limit to the number of posts that can be published in the Blog widget? I’m planning to create numerous articles and would like to know if there’s a maximum limit to consider or if this could affect website performance.
  3. Alternatives: If custom HTML is not possible, what are the recommended alternatives for adding clickable elements (such as “Learn more” buttons) that link to external websites?

The Code Block option lets you display the codes as the preformatted text, rather than a plain text.

However, unfortunately, it doesn’t transform HTML codes into interactive elements. We already have a similar idea on the Wishlist and you can upvote it here - Embed other widgets into Blog.

As for the CTA buttons, unfortunately, it’s impossible to implement a custom solution, but this idea is also on the Wishlist - CTA button for the posts

Regarding the post limit, please let me consult with the devs. I’ll report back tomorrow :slightly_smiling_face:
