  • Issue description: My website is through my restaurants Toast POS. They. have the option to enter custom code in a block on your site. As soon as I past the elfsight script into the custom code field..it throws an error and makes me reload the site or undo recent changes. Was hoping someone might know a way around this. I added html.. im a restaurant manager not a coder. Thanks!

It specifically mentions “HTML snippet or code” so it should be possible. Is this how you are entering the Elfsight code? If not, try it. If it is how you’ve been doing it, verify that you are not inserting the widget script inside another script. Scripts begin with a <script> tag and end with </script>. You have to ensure that you’re not dragging the Elfsight code between those two tags.

The widget is getting cropped because it’s installed in an iframe. I am not sure if it’s possible to install the widget avoiding iframes in this case, but our devs will be happy to check things for you.
