Interactive Prayer Wall

Hello,

would love to see an interactive prayer wall widget. Users could submit their prayer requests and have a feature similar to a “like” button—perhaps a prayer hand icon—so others can click it to indicate that they are praying for that request. It would also display the number of people praying for each request.

When someone submits a prayer request, they could choose to receive notifications every time someone clicks the prayer icon. Additionally, it would be great to allow users to include their city, country, or zip code, providing a marker for where they are writing from. This information could then be displayed on an interactive prayer map, showing prayers visible on the prayer wall.

Imagine prayers lighting up a world map with little pin drops! For security reasons, we should only show the location by country, city, or zip code, without revealing any specific addresses. I hope this makes sense!

An :pray: or similar icon could indicate “someone is praying for you.”

Additionally, we might include a call-out icon for users wishing to make a declaration instead of a prayer, represented by :speaking_head:. It would also display the number of people in agreement with declaration. Truly hope I was descriptive enough. One can only hope.

We can’t promise that such an app will be released. However, if it gets more votes, we’ll try to consider this opportunity :slightly_smiling_face:

In the meantime, you are very welcome to test our Form Builder app, which may partially cover your use. Although it doesn’t have features like interactive map, like button, etc, it will allow your website visitors to submit their prayer requests filling the fields available in the widget.
