I’m truly sorry that our app didn’t fully meet your expectations 
The YouTube Gallery widget does support YouTube Shorts, but they are currently displayed in the standard video format, which I understand may not be the experience you were looking for.
At the moment, displaying videos in the native vertical Shorts format isn’t supported. However, we do have a Wishlist request for this feature, and we’d really appreciate it if you could upvote it here: Displaying Vertical Videos
In the meantime, we have a custom solution you can try: Vertical video display (like Shorts)
It doesn’t fully replicate YouTube’s native vertical video layout, but it may help achieve a similar look and could work for your use case.
