How to have more user engagement?

My goal is to have a lot of user engagement on my website. My website will be on art, and I am looking for apps and plugins that would allow users to share art of their own.

My goals are:

  • Artist Spotlight – I will introduce independent creators and their work.
  • Hidden Gems – I will showcase overlooked original artwork.
  • The Story Behind the Art – I will interview artists about what inspired them.
  • Art Contests - I will host art contests, and winners will have their work featured in videos.
  • Classic Inspirations – There will be discussions on what older cartoons, books, or illustrations still do as well.

So I’m wondering if Elfsight could direct me to apps that might be able to make these features possible. Examples would include:

  • Comment app (I already have this one in use.)
  • User option to upload art files
  • Option for users to interact with each other
  • Option for users to participate in contests (voting polls)
  • Option to have something similar to a live Zoom call where interviews can be made

Please let me know if there are apps or features that could make these things work, or if there is anyway these things can be done.

@Prevalent_Arts, nice concept! The Form Builder widget allows user file uploads up to 100MB, which should be plenty. Form can be configured to send you an email upon successful file upload. Contact forms, application forms, or feedback forms are your best bet I believe.

Give it a try, and hopefully this will hold you over until a staff member can reply. Further questions? Just ask.

Here are a few apps that could be useful for your case in my opinion:

User art submissions: As @Bob_Wilson mentioned, our Form Builder can help you collect artwork submissions by adding a file field in your custom Form. You can also collect other information along with the art itself as the customizations are endless :artist:

User interaction: The Comments widget can help visitors connect by discussing any topic you have on a page :people_holding_hands:

Art contests and voting: Just like @Sina mentioned, you can use our Poll widget to let visitors vote for their favorite artworks or participate in contests you set up :trophy:

Interviews / calls: Our All-in-One Chat widget can help visitors contact you through different messengers, including custom links, so you can direct them to a platform for interviews or calls :telephone_receiver:
