How to display Google Reviews in multiple languages for international websites?

Hi everyone :waving_hand:

I’m Stefan from Dream Garden (playgroundinchina.com), a playground equipment manufacturer based in China.

We’re using the Elfsight Google Reviews widget on several of our international websites:

I’d like to ask:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: How can I make the widget automatically detect the visitor’s language and show translated reviews (EN, CN, RU, AR, etc.)?
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Is it possible to customize each site’s widget design to match its local style, while still connecting to the same Google Business Profile?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated!

1. Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically translate the widget based on the language versions of the website.

I’ve added this idea to the Wishlist on your behalf - Multilanguage versions for 1 widget. If this request gains more votes, it might be considered in the future.

At the moment, there are 2 options for this case:

  • Create a separate widget for each website and translate the review text using the Auto- Translate option (this feature is available starting with the Pro plan)

  • Install our Website Translator widget to your website, which will translate the content of the page, where it’s installed (including Google Reviews widget)

2. If I got it right you wanted to use one widget with different designs based on the page, where it’s installed.

If so, the only solution is to create a separate widget for each page. Once this done, please describe in details what should be customized. We’ll be happy to assist you with it :slightly_smiling_face:
