I help a variety of food and beverage companies with their website and would love to automate the restaurant menu and hours update process with their Google my business profile. Is there a way to do this?

Just to clarify, do you mean you’d want a widget to display both a restaurant’s menu and its working hours? If I’m missing something, please share some more details on the use case and how you see such a widget so that I better understand your idea

To clarify it would probably be 2 different widgets. I manage quite a few restaurant websites and the number 1 and number 2 requests I get for updates are to update their business hours (which I do manually) and update their menu (which I do manually). I would love to eliminate these tasks and save my time and the restaurant owners time by integrating with their Google Menu and Google Store Hours. A widget(s) that pulled the menu and/or google hours automatically like the reviews would be so useful to have. It would save time and reduce the chance of error since most business owners are already updating their menu and hours within their Google my business profile.
Does that make sense?

I must confess that this sounds like a custom use case, and I’m not sure we can build an entire widget to support it. But I’ll leave your suggestion here in the Wishlist anyway — we never know what future holds and what projects we might tackle down the road

I am bummed to hear this even though its one of my biggest request for updates. the hours is the biggest one. Customers do not like it when hours are wrong on a website or google my business. Its one way to get a bad review and automating the process from google to a website would be so helpful.

In principle, it should be possible to access all data stored in the Google Business Account. It works with reviews. 
It has menus. Others have offers, posts, and images.
Distributing the data to the individual widgets would then be targeted.
For business hours, it has the advantage that recurring data such as holidays, etc., no longer have to be entered manually. Therefore, this app is only of limited use for me.

Absolutely understand your point! Well, I love the idea about GMB integration, and I think we have a similar request for the Business Hours widget: Integration with Google, Apple Business, Bing places, etc.

Absolutely! If that widget updated to an external source it would be super useful.
