Form submissions became slower

  • Has anyone else noticed slower form submissions after the Google reCAPTCHA was hidden?

    On my website, submissions were very fast while reCAPTCHA was visible and working. After it was hidden, I noticed delays, especially with appointment bookings. Contact and quote forms take around 4–7 seconds, but appointment submissions take considerably longer.

    I’ve reported this to support and switched to Google Calendar for appointment scheduling. I can’t confirm whether hiding reCAPTCHA caused the slowdown, but that’s when the problem started.

    Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution?
