When an event is edited in the Google calendar the individual elfsight event link URL updates. It would be ideal if this didn’t “break” or change when the Google event is amended—we haven’t even changed the date or time of the event, simply the content/text and the elfsight event link URL changes. This is problematic when the event link has been used to promote an event and any updates to the event content alter the URL. Not very user friendly.

I’ve tried to change the event description in the Google Calendar and the event link hasn’t been changed. Could you please share an example of the edited event and show how the link changed?
Ah, I see that you’ve changed the event title. Indeed, when editing the event name, the link will be changed as well. So, this is a correct behavior.
In case you change the info in the description, the link won’t be changed.
However, I get your point that it would be great to keep the same link if the date/time remained the same. If this request gets more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future updates 
Right. Clarity on what’s happening when is always helpful. I did another test and understand where it’s glitching now. Thank you.
If the event URL used the event title as part of the link this would be intuitive, however it doesn’t. And it would be great to have a “placeholder” that we can send out prior to knowing what the event will be.
