Email Recipients Limit

  • Issue description:
  • It seems that I can only have a maximum of 3 recipients in my form. How can I increase it? I’m currently using PostMark for my SMTP. I see no reason you guys are setting this limit since I’m using a 3rd party SMTP.

If you’d like to add more recipients, you can use the CC/BCC options in your widget’s settings:


Does it work for you, or you’d still like to add more emails as main recipients?

I’d like to add up to 9 main recipients, if possible.

You guys should consider lifting or increasing the limit for those who use their own SMTP services.

As for now, we can manually add more recipients to your widget on our end. I see that you have 6 Form Builder widgets. Could you please send me the following info in a direct message::

  • emails you’d like to add as recipients

  • name of the Form Builder widget, where you’d like to add them

Can’t I do it manually? Because sometimes the recipients may change because my client either has new staff and/old ones resign

To give you more context: there is no way to increase the limit, so that you could add the new emails yourself. However, we can add the new emails on our end, and you’ll be able to change them later :slightly_smiling_face:

By “change them later”, does it mean I can delete them, too? For e.g.: Let’s say my client has 9 email addresses as main recipients, but later 3 resign and so only need 6 temporarily, will the 3 “blank” email recipient fields cause any problem? And if they found 3 new staff to join them, can I add these 3 email recipients back easily?

You’ll definitely be able to delete email addresses, but I’m afraid adding new ones beyond the limit can currently only be done on our end :disappointed_face:

I understand that this is not ideal, but we’re always happy to help with adding new emails.
