Donation Form widget

A Donation Form widget could make it easy for people to contribute to our cause. Basically, I need an option to to collect donations and support from my audience.

I totally understand your frustration, and I’m extremely sorry that the widget you’re eagerly waiting for has yet to be released

We have to confess that our development team is swamped with a copious amount of urgent tasks, that’s why we had to hit the pause on new widgets development.

The bitter truth is that at the moment we lack the resources, but we’re doing everything possible to figure it out.

I assure you we do everything in our power to get back to working on new widgets, but I’m afraid I’m not able to provide any ETA.

thank you so much for your honesty. And thank you and your team for all the great support one receives when using Elfsight.

I wish that you will have enough human resources in future to maintain the existing widgets and to develop the ones in pipeline.

Meanwhile I found out, that your Paypal-Widget does have a Donation (free custom amount) option already and you also can activate credit card payment with that.

This is already a great help. I was not aware of it. I thought that widget just works with fixed prices.

another idea:

maybe on the announcement page for the Donation form widget you can place a link to the Paypal Button Widget, mentioning that Donation works with that one already?

I’m afraid we don’t have an ETA for the Donation Form widget yet, as this widget is still in consideration. However, if I have any news or updates, I’ll make sure to post here

We haven’t started working on this app yet, but we are collecting users’ feedback about the Donation Form at the moment.

We have just recently signed up for your translation widget and I was looking through the other widgets you offer. Several other media companies in our area have donation popup buttons on their site and I was interested. When i bought the paper the site had a very small donate button that no one ever used. I thought when my assistant was looking through your site she found one.
