Dates format

Hi @Helga & @Max,

I know this is solved. However, is it feasible to have the option to choose the format of the date?

In my case I have to grab the reviews from a platform that only shows the month and year. So ultimately a wrong date day presented. Being able to show Nov-2024, or Novermber-2024 would be useful irrespective of the day in the month.

Also I notice that the year doesn’t show for the current year, so instead of May 13, 2024, it shows as May 13. Is this by design?

Best wishes,
mw

Hi @Master_Web, I’ve moved your question to the support section, if you don’t mind

Could you please share the name of the platform so that I can test things on my end? Right now, there is only one way to display the date, where a month is shown in written form, so I’m not sure how it would look in the case you’ve described

As for the current year, it’s not displayed in a widget by design

Hi @Helga ,

Currently the widget is used on Google Sites.

Thank you.

Thank you! I don’t recall any issues related to dates there, is it an option for you to send me the link to your website where this widget is installed?

Thank you! I’ve checked your widget’s settings and the widget on your website, and I see no difference, the dates are the same

Could you please help me find the issue?

Hi @Helga

The first review in the slide show “May 15” (month day), while all the preceeding review dates show “month day, year”

The firs treview in the slide has date year of 2924. The others are 2023 and before. Is this what you referred to is by design?

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
mw

Hi @Master_Web, my apologies for the delay :pray:t2:

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant — the current year isn’t displayed by design, while older dates include the year
