If you don’t mind, I’ll go first to get us in the spirit

Many things can create that special Christmas mood, but I’d single out three things that are absolutely essential for my celebration every year :christmas_tree:

  1. The Pre-Holiday Clean – I know, it might not sound very festive, but I love a clean space, so I always make sure to prepare my home for the holidays.

  2. Christmas movie – There are so many great films that capture the holiday mood, but for me, it’s Home Alone. I’ve already lost count of how many times I’ve seen it, but watching it every Christmas became a strong tradition :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

  3. Spending time with family – My family means the world to me, so being together with my loved ones is the most important part.

Holidays feel complete because of my family.

l’esprit de Noël vient souvent des Grands-parents et de la transmission des coutumes. Lorsque c’est le cas, Noël reste un moment clé dans l’année pour se rassembler et pour partager un moment festif

The Christmas spirit often comes from grandparents and the passing down of traditions. When this is the case, Christmas remains a key time of year to gather and share a festive moment.

I absolutely love decorating the house for Christmas, baking breads, cheesecakes, and cookies, and enjoying time with family playing games after Christmas dinner. Christmas is my favorite holiday!

Sweet! Fun!

  1. Family- We’re all super busy- so spending intentional purposeful time together is super special.
  2. Cleaning- I love clearing the cobwebs with projects, cleaning, and really just getting organized.
  3. Goal setting for the upcoming year. I’m a lifelong learner and am excited about incorporating and developing new processed, refining/eliminating older ones into lots of different projects.

:christmas_tree: My Christmas Must Haves:

  1. The TV set to the fireplace video for the crackling sounds and warm image of a fireplace. fun fact: it can actually make you and your family feel more warm and cozy. IMO.

  2. Warm apple cider with the cinnamon sticks on the stove top warming up the space with freakin awesome smells - and it’s better of course when you share it with family and friends.

  3. A Christmas Tree with about 4,563 lights to add that sparkle and ambiance for my family to enjoy.

:star: BONUS Christmas must have: elfsight reviews widgets that show up in rich snippets like a beacon in my clients’ blog articles and website page SEARCH ENGINE RESULTS!!! BAM!!!

At Christmas, besides our gift exchange, we also do a fun activity we call “joke gifts.” These are gifts that work for anyone—like food, a general item, or something funny but still useful. It’s an activity meant to have fun and spend time together. :cookie::christmas_tree::wrapped_gift:

For me, Christmas feels complete with these three things:

• Family time around the table. No rush. Just talking and laughing.
• A familiar Christmas movie playing in the background. Even if I’ve seen it a dozen times.
• That first bite of a treat I only have in December. It brings back old memories straight away.

3 Things that make my Christmas complete are:

  1. Being grateful that I am alive and can wave 2025 goodbye.
  2. Being fortunate to have the friends and family that I share my life with.
  3. Being excited that I get to be a better version of myself in 2026.

We cannot change our past mistakes or be trapped by it, we get the opportunity to be grateful for the time we have now and work for a greater future.

The choice is yours.

Happy holidays to all :santa_claus:

Christmas reminds us that God loved the world so much that he sent his son Jesus to us in a human body.

The Christmas tree (fake but awesome) is up right after of shortly after Halloween. Welcoming in the Holiday Season. Gotta do the Christmas Eve evening Movie Binge. Beginning with Christmas Vacation then Home Alone, It’s a Wonderful Life & ending with The Christmas Story followed by everyone opening one gift before heading off to bed.
