On my slider application the link that I put in doesnt redirect me after I installed it on my Wix website.

Thank you for sharing the link!

Due to the peculiarities of the Wix platform, the widget is installed in iframe that prevents external links from opening.

I’ll check if anything can be done with our dev team and get back to you a bit later :slightly_smiling_face:

It isnt right though that elfsight promotes this feature without it even working, it also doesnt mention that there might be issues. If it doesnt work I would want the subscription refunded.

I am so sorry for all the frustration caused!

I have to say that this functionality works great on other CMSs that aren’t built on iframes. However, there is a workaround for Wix as well. You just need to reinstall the widget avoiding iframe - How to install a widget on Wix avoiding iFrame - Elfsight Help Center.

Hi Max, yes it worked thanks for your help, one question do I get rid of the block created? Or does it need to be kept on the website and I can make it smaller? The widget now functions properly with the html after the coding and the steps I followed and nothing was created within the empty block. Please let me know and thanks for the help

I’ve talked to our dev team and they’ve confirmed that without this block the widget won’t function correctly. So, you should keep it.

Hi Max, I deleted the block to check if it will and there seems to be no problem, idk because if its because of the code or just working now properly: symbolise.biz

I’ve checked your website and at the moment your widget is in iframe.

So, I would recommend you to keep the block.
