Hi Team, it would be beneficial to have a member directory app to add to websites that require this feature, such as Chambers of Commerce, Online Farmers markets, Online Malls and these types of websites.

I believe this would be a very useful widget! I’m organizing a “Design Week” in my city and I need an interactive way to show every store participating.

I think it’s easy to see all the other uses this could have:

  • A mall listing all their stores.
  • A chamber of commerce showing all their members.
  • A farmer’s market showing participating farms.

Ideally, you would be able to filter businesses by category, list details for them (phone number, email, social media, website, opening hours, description) and perhaps have a little map to display each store’s location.

This widget has been requested many times before, but the request is spread throughout the forum. Examples: 1, 2

Hey there! This would be amazing! Right now, I have to get creative with listing businesses. I think it would be great to have a business directory that I can add to my website. Hopefully it is something the developers are strongly considering!

I would love to be able to create nicely styled directories to organize business listings on several websites. Similar to your online calendar widget but for business information, and also with it’s own login potentially for clients to login and update their own listings.

We already have a similar Wishlist request and I’ve added your comment there too. In the meantime, could you please describe what business info you’d like to display? What design and layouts would you like to have? Do you have an example of an existing app with the features you’d like to have?

I would love to have a community-focused business directory with main categories and sub-categories, with a very simple way for advertisers to add free listings (Business name and phone number) with the option to upgrade to a full paid listing (Business name, all contact info, socials, a brief business description, logo). This is what I do now, Chestermere & Langdon Local Directory | Businesses, Services & Organizations — Little Lake Locals, and while it works, it does not serve my needs well. I would also like a good SEO function to compete with other directories in my community.
