What I would like to request is a form to book private transportation from the airport to a different zone areas and where I can put a price on each Zone depending on the service could be one way or round trip also that includes the flight number date arrival time hotel location where the destination is and price calculation to reflect the total at the end and a way to integrate payment specifically clip payment option thank you

Hi Max, I’ve been experimenting with the Booking Form on my site and have found a couple of issues.

(1) The email address that the business owner receives the booking notification to is the email that is used in the Business Profile page.

But I think it is meant be sent to the email used in the Notification page under ‘Owner email’, isn’t it?

(2) When someone makes a booking, the time/date is automatically blocked out on the booking form. But even after I decline the booking through the email, the date isn’t automatically unblocked again.

I think this should be an automatic process when it is declined by the owner, but in cases where I have already accepted the booking, but then need to cancel, how can I manually unblock the date?

  1. Yes, the email notification should be delivered to the email added to the Owner email field. I’ve tested things and everything worked correctly. If the issue still persists on your end, could you please send me a link to the page where your widget is installed?

  2. For this, you need to sync your widget with the Google Calendar. This way, if you delete a scheduled appointment from your Google Calendar, this time slot will be available in the widget again:

Hi Max, yeah, you’re right it is working with the correct email. I just realized there is a slight delay in the changeover of the email.

When I change the notification email and then immediately go to place a booking, it still sends to the previous email, but after a minute, it does go to the correct email.

I just confused myself because I was originally using the same email for profile and notification.

As for the booking cancellation, you’re also right about that :sweat_smile:, I’m able to cancel through the calander…but I’m just wondering what the purpose is of the email with the decline/accept buttons, how does this play into the system?

I was just assuming that by the business declining or accepting the booking that is what controls the input into the google calendar.

I was confused by this, because on mobile it is very prominent as you can see in the first screenshot, but in desktop it isn’t almost hidden as in the second screenshot.

I’m starting to think this might be a Google Calendar/Email client thing and not an Elfsight thing, because your email looks a lot different to mine.

Yeah, it’s definitely 3rd party buttons. I see that you are using a Thunderbird extension, which might be the reason for the display of these buttons :slightly_smiling_face:

Problem solved then haha, thanks for your help mate.

The widget works really well now that I understand it, hopefully the custom fields will be available at some point as I think this will make it perfect!
