We ended up using a competitor’s social feed on some of our websites because they do not require any sort of a login before adding a FB feed. Normally this would not be an issue but we have a couple clients who are clueless about how to add us to their authorized users on their pages. Is this still the case? Do we need to be authorized on each facebook page we add to the FB or Social feeds?

I totally get why you’d like to display FB feeds without authorization, but, unfortunately, it’s still required in our apps.
We cannot say how other companies handle it, but we use an official API that requires authorization. So far, we haven’t found any other solutions that meet our reliability requirements, that’s why it’s impossible to implement this idea now.
