We’re excited to introduce a new panel in the AI Chatbot that lets your visitors rate each reply of AI agent as Good or Bad, and copy the response text in one click
Widget owners will be able to see how users rated each AI response and fine-tune the knowledge if something needs correction.
(1) I need a JS or CSS rule that will allow me to delete those added icons (i.e., features). Not useful for our team.
(2) The added icons (i.e., features) belong in the bottom section of the chatbot field, not the bottom of each individual chat answer. Please refer to this topic for the desired location.
(3) Currently, the “Copy” button does not really help much. I tested it and it only copies the bot’s answer, not the question asked. It should copy both the question and answer. More important, the chatbot already includes a “Save Transcript” button, so the “Copy” button is not needed.
(4) The tooltip text for the “Thumbs Up” and “Thumbs Down” icons should be “Like” and “Dislike”, respectively. The terms “Good Response” or “Bad Response” are too specific (e.g., A complex answer, while correct, may seem like a “bad response” to the chatbot user).
In short, the new feature is not useful to our team. We prefer to see the features requested in this topic. With the emoji feature added, for example, chatbot users can use the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” emojis (or any other) to express their feelings about the chat or chatbot answers.
Could you please take another look and see if it works as expected on your end?
The Copy button is meant for cases when someone needs to save the content from a specific reply only. If they’d like to save the full transcript (including their questions), they can use the Save Transcript button at the top.
I am glad to say that you can change the text of these buttons in the Edit Texts section of the Language & Region setting on the Settings tab:
(1) Since the new feature is embedded in your code, please ask your developers to add an ON/OFF toggle switch in the configurator. Please do this for all future “buttons” added to the frontend of the chatbot. Allowing your customers to control the chatbot’s frontend UI is the right thing to do. Using CSS or JS works, of course, but your customers will have to start “hunting” for these codes in your documentation and will, most likely, increase your workload if they cannot find them.
(2) I strongly recommend adding the feature noted in the topic referenced above. Your customers will not only praise you, but treat you to a complimentary beverage (or two)!
(3) Please update your code for the configurator’s CSS and JS fields so we can expand them horizontally. Currently, it’s very difficult to manage the codes we have and they’re prone to errors due to the limited field of view.
Sure, I’ll adjust the post text to make it clearer that each response can be rated.
Yep, I totally get your pain and we’ll try to consider this enhancement in the future. All updates will be posted in this thread - More convenient Custom CSS & JS editors
