Adjust picture to fit

I am using the Team Showcase and I would like to see a feature to adjust the picture that you are using to center up the person instead of it cutting off their head.

Hey there and welcome to the Community, @Tony_Haynes :waving_hand:

Please try to use this code and let me know if you like the result :slightly_smiling_face: - Display full images in square containers (2nd and 3rd layout)

Thanks for info but this is what I get back when I put that where you suggested. Im no developer by any means lol

Line 1: Expected a JSON value.

Line 1: Expected ‘]’ and instead saw ‘quote’.

Line 1: Unrecoverable syntax error. (11% scanned).

You’ve added the code to the Custom JS field, and it should be added to the Custom CSS field on the Style tab of your widget’s settings. Also, I see that you’ve copied the quote tags, which shouldn’t be there:

I’ve added the code to the Custom CSS field. Please check it out and let me know if you like the result

Did you go ahead and fix that issue then because it looks correct now and this is the first time I looked at it since you said what to change. Also I have another issue with a different widget. Its the social media one I created. The issue I have is that it wants me to use my personal links instead of I would like to use our business links. Can you tell me how to put those in instead of my own. Also thanks so much for the assitance!!

Yep, I’ve added the code to the Custom CSS field of your Team Showcase widget’s settings to adjust the image display.

As for the Social Feed widget, could you please specify what platform you’re going to add there and what business links you mean?

1st off thank you for the assistance on the first widget but this widget is the social media widget and I am logged in as myself working on all this and I want to use my companies links for the widget. How do I change that because I do not see that option.

Got it, thanks!

Firstly, you should your widget to your Facebook account - Step 1: Setting the source of your Facebook Feed - Elfsight Help Center.

Once the widget is connected to Facebook, you’ll see a dropdown with the available Facebook pages. To display the page of your company, you should have admin or owner permissions. for the page. Without these, the page cannot be linked to Facebook Feed.

If you have the needed permissions, but the page still doesn’t appear in the dropdown, please check this article to troubleshoot the issue :slightly_smiling_face: - Why my Facebook page doesn't appear in Facebook Feed - Elfsight Help Center

Thanks Max for responding but both my wife and office manager set these up so they are linked to their accounts so is there a work around to get the links into that system for that to populate?

Got it! There are 2 possible solutions in this case:

  • Share credentials from your Elfsight account with your wife/ manager and ask them to connect your widget(s) to their Facebook pages

  • Ask your wife/manager to provide you with the admin/owner permissions to their pages, Once this done, you’ll be able to connect their pages, using your account

Please let me know if this explains things or if you have any questions left :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there, @Tony_Haynes :waving_hand:

Sure, here is a ready solution from our CSS Codes category - Align widget title to the center.

Please try it out and let me know if it worked
