Each of my events is usually at a unique venue. I can of course add this to the descriptoin but I think it would be better if Venue/Location had its own field and can add a Google map location automatically based on the address.

You can add all the needed venues in the Venues section on the Events tab:
Once the venues are added, you can choose the needed venue for the event from the dropdown list:

This works great. Thank you. One suggestions is to add a field for phone number of the venue.
