Ability to see whether a widget is currently embedded/in use

We use Elfsight to embed Instagram feeds across a large number of websites. With thousands of editors and content that constantly changes, it would be extremely helpful to have a feature that shows whether a given widget is currently in use (i.e., embedded somewhere).

This would help us:

  • Identify unused widgets for cleanup.
  • Avoid confusion about which widgets are active.
  • Improve content governance across our organization.

A simple indicator in the dashboard, such as “in use” / “not in use,” or even better—details about which domains or pages the widget is embedded on—would be incredibly valuable.

Thank you for considering this!

Hi @Nittenotteogtyve_Aar, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts!

That’s a really great idea, I guess it would be really super convenient to have an “in use” indication next to a widget. I hope our devs will be able to think about it in future releases :+1:t2:

And welcome to the community! Happy to have you join
