YouTube Playlists Support

Please add support for YouTube playlists to the widget. Both regular YouTube, and YouTube Music.

Thank you for the feedback!

The Radio Player widget is designed specifically for live radio streams, so it can’t support videos in playlists since they aren’t live content. Because of this, we won’t be able to add that feature to the widget.

I hope this explains things.

Hey Max,

This was actually meant for YouTube Music Playlists, and YouTube Radio Links. Same for this request, YouTube Playlist Support - #2 .

I really just duplicated what an Elfsight support person created on my behalf for the Audio Player widget. Should I create new wishlist requests for both, or just edit the title of both for the wishlist?

Both widgets actually have the option to add YouTube Music links, but they don’t seem to work for playlists, and I think even single track links don’t work. I was told there maybe some conflict in how the embedded code works with YouTube links?

I got the case with the Audio Player widget. And regarding the Radio Player, you’d like to add links to the live streams there, not to playlist with the recorded tracks, right?

For the radio widget, YouTube Music Playlists and YouTube Radio Links. Not sure if YouTube Radio Links are considered live, to me is just a web link, same for the YouTube Music Playlists.

I do recall YouTube Music playlists worked before in the Radio Widget, at least for me. So I was surprised when it stopped working. And I think YouTube Radio Links worked before as well.
