What is this "Past Events" mess with the Event Calendar editing UI?!

  • Issue description:
    It appears that someone decided to “improve” the editing and management UI for the calendar widget. It’s a complete mess now.

For example, events that are still scheduled to occur the rest of this month (January 2025) are hidden in a new “Past Events” section.

Please, is there some way to get my flattened events list back? I don’t want “Past Events”!!

Hi Max and Hi Elfsight Community -

OK. After having worked with the “Past Events” that archives events, I am finding it to actually be quite helpful in keeping things tidy. It has prompted me to make some changes to my calendar management process that will make things much simpler.
I apologize for dismissing the change as “a mess” out of hand.
The Event Calendar widget is an impressive piece of work and the Elfsight hosting has been problem free.
