I am using the Elfsight TikTok Feed widget on my website and have found that videos no longer open in a pop-up. Instead, they redirect visitors straight to TikTok.
It is strange because this used to work, and the Elfsight Instagram Feed still allows viewers to watch content in a pop-up on the website.
I have spoken with Elfsight support, and they explained that this may be due to music and other TikTok restrictions. However, I am not convinced this is the case, as I have tested TikTok widgets from other providers and they work fine with pop-up viewing.
I enjoy using Elfsight, but this feature is essential for my website. Without it, I may need to move my account, as Elfsight only offers one TikTok widget and it does not currently work for my needs.
