The event calendar disappeared, but reappeared after being published. As the site “stands still” inbetween the events, it’s important to know why this happens. My guess is, that it’s due to safety-reasons, that the widget deactivates itself after some months… does anybody know after how many months this happens, so i could prevent the event-site from going blank? this would be amazing!
Hi there and welcome to the Community, @user6087 ![]()
The widget might have been deactivated on the website if you reach the monthly view limit. It will automatically reactivate once the views refresh or if you upgrade your subscription to a higher view limit.
However, I checked your widget and noticed that it hasn’t been installed on your website yet, which is why there are no views.
Could you provide more details about the situation? Did you open the widget editor, find it empty, and then see the widget show up after clicking the Publish button?
Hey there, thx for your fast response! It’s not about my widget, but about the widget for a customer: https://www.thementage.de/veranstaltungen
i’m pretty sure the calendar didn’t reach the monthly view limit, as there was close to none traffic on the site…
”Did you open the widget editor, find it empty, and then see the widget show up after clicking the Publish button?” ← they discribed exactly this as well
after thet they published and everything was visible on the website widget again
Got it, thanks for sharing a link
Unfortunately, it’s hard to say what caused the issue, since everything is working fine now.
I really hope the issue won’t occur in the future, but if you face it again, please take a screenshot of the Dev Console on the page, where the widget disappears. This will help us understand what’s causing troubles ![]()
